Set in the famous and beautiful Rhondda Valley, adjacent to the Heritage Park Centre & Museum, the hotel is an ideal base from which to explore South Wales. The Brecon Beacons National Park, and Cardiff, are only twenty minutes by car.

The Rhondda Valleys are transformed from being the centre of heavy engineering and mining, to being green and lush. They retain their sense of pride and traditional heritage but combine it with a new optimism. Never has the phrase 'How green is my valley' been more appropriate.

A fine selection of traditional beers, wines and spirits are available to accompany light meals served throughout the day.

The hotel reception opens out to a spacious and comfortable lounge bar. Traditional Welsh features and heritage are reflected in the surroundings. A collection of original photographs featuring local scenes and characters adorn the walls, complemented by cosy corners and comfortable furnishings.

Pulse Leisure Club

The Pulse Health & Leisure Club is open daily from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m weekdays and 8.00am to 8.00pm weekends. and includes an indoor swimming pool with swim resistor machine, a modern fully-equipped gymnasium, sauna, steam room and Spa, all of which is free to hotel residents.

Massage and beauty treatments are available by appointment in the complex. The Pulse Club also has a solarium for which a small charge is made.

The Gymnasium features up to date Cross Trainers, Steppers and other Cardio Vascular equipment.
