Llantrisant
Llantrisant is a town of contrasts.
Perched on a hill it boasts a long history involving Kings, Princes, archers and even an eccentric Doctor.
The main square is known as the Bullring and is dominated by the ‘Model House’, a Workhouse which has now been developed into a centre for arts and crafts. Below that towers a statue to Doctor William Price the chartist, free thinker and advocate of cremation.
The town is famous for its archers who fought in the battle of Crecy, it's freemen and it's traditions such as Beating the Bounds.
