Theatres

The curtain is always up for marvellous music, dance, comedy, stage productions and cinema at Rhondda Cynon Taf’s three main theatres - The Coliseum, Aberdare, The Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd and The Park and Dare Theatre, Treorchy.

Our ever-evolving year-long entertainment programme includes exclusive Welsh dates by artists as varied as Ray Davies, Beth Nielsen Chapman and The Buzzcocks, plus international contemporary dance, a regular monthly comedy club at The Muni Arts Centre and drama from local legend Frank Vickery.

The three Rhondda Cynon Taf theatres make up a Regional Performing Arts Centre - with Arts Council of Wales "Arts Outside Cardiff " funding to support our programming and marketing.

As one of only five AOC production centres in Wales, the RCT Theatres co-produce shows that are touring and take the name of Rhondda Cynon Taf throughout Wales.
