New York, Paris, Washington and Moscow – Rhondda Cynon Taf’s famous choirs have performed worldwide but still know how to relax on thieir home ground. In local boy Sir Stanley Baker’s epic film "Zulu", the strains of ‘Men of Harlech’ kept the troops resolute… you may still hear the tune in a local pub – although its just as likely to be ‘Cwm Rhondda’, or even ‘Delilah’.

It’s not all male voice choirs you know. Although we are home to some of the best.

Singing and music is not unusual in the Valleys, whether it’s ‘Cwm Rhondda’, ‘Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau’, ‘The Green Green Grass of Home’, ‘Just Looking’, or even, ‘Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja’ this land of song just keeps on singing. And always will.
